The Board has pleasure in opening the learning disability and autism small grants programme for 2015.
An Application Form and Appendix 1 (Guidance and Criteria) is available with all the information needed to consider and complete an application. Please read that carefully before applying for a grant. Please email: Mike S Smith <Mike.Smith2@westsussex.gov.uk> for a copy of the Application Form.
In a change to previous years, projects will be awarded grants over a 3-year period (subject to annual performance review) with a maximum of £20k available in any one year. It is anticipated that projects will develop a clear and sustainable funding model and reduce their dependency on grant funding during each year of the project, achieving full sustainability after 3 years.
In each of the 3 years, a total of £60,000 is available for projects supporting learning disability objectives and £45,000 supporting autism objectives.
Information about other grants that are available, if this grant is not suitable for your project, can be found from the attached WSCC newsletter.
The deadline for completed applications is 5pm on Friday 26th June 2015.
The Board looks forward to hearing back from projects that meet the priorities set out for people with Learning Disabilities and Autistic Spectrum Conditions over the next three years.
